Our practice
You’re welcome here as you already are.Therapy for anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD and autism, couples, children and teens — trauma-informed care in Colleyville, Fort Worth, and online across Texas.
We read every message and will respond as soon as we can.
We work with trauma, attachment, codependency, neurodivergence, chronic illness, grief and identity, and we are LGBTQIA+ affirming.
Between us we work in Spanish, Arabic, Korean and Mandarin. If one of those is the language you think in, you can use it here. We see clients from nine years old upward.
We offer EMDR for trauma and counseling around cultural identity, and we hold evening and weekend appointments in Colleyville, Fort Worth, and online across Texas. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll help you find who is.
How it works
Getting started takes about five minutes.
Our therapists
Find the right therapist.
Every therapist's page lists their specialties, their approach, the insurance they take, and their rate, so you can choose rather than be assigned.

Insurance
We're in network with most major plans.
Not sure what your plan covers? We can give you an estimate when you reach out — no charge, and no obligation to schedule.
Check the front of your insurance card.
It takes about ten seconds and tells you most of what you need to know.
You likely have a copay plan.
A flat fee every session. Look for Behavioral Health or Mental Health if your card lists one — that’s the number that applies. If it doesn’t, the PCP amount is usually the closest for therapy in our experience, though some plans use the Specialist rate instead.
Usually $0–$50That’s where most of our clients on copay plans land.
You likely have a coinsurance plan.
You pay the full contracted rate until your deductible is met, then a percentage after that. Deductibles reset once a plan year — check your plan for when yours does.
Per session with us, until your deductible is met.
Not sure? That’s the normal answer. We can give you an estimate of what you’d pay before you book anything. We also offer a sliding scale, and reduced-fee places when we have a clinical intern on our team. And if cost is the thing stopping you, say so — it’s the most common reason people don’t start, and the one we have the most room to move on.

“If you’re in need of counseling, I highly recommend Nigel and the team at Zen Life Counseling. They helped me manage my anxiety, and get me to be the version of me I always want to be. If you find yourself in a dark place, in need of a guiding light, give ’em a call!”
