Chris Adame (he/him), m.ed., LPC
-colleyville office-
I have had the opportunity to work with many individuals (teenagers and adults) struggling with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and issues related to self-identification. I have also been fortunate enough to co-lead group therapy sessions on the topic of dream analysis under the supervision of Dr. Gregory Scott Sparrow.
It is my goal to provide a safe environment where all feel heard and understood. As a person who identifies within the LGBTQ+ community, I consider it an honor to be an advocate for those that feel voiceless. Some theoretical frameworks that I utilize include: EMDR, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am a firm believer that our life experiences, regardless of how difficult they might seem, not only serve a purpose but also make us stronger, more resilient individuals. I also strive to build relationships with clients that are built on trust, empathy, and respect. |
