I've had the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families at the Glick house at Texas Wesleyan University.  I was also a clinical intern at the Children's Advocacy Center for Denton County and worked with children of physical and sexual abuse in individual sessions, play therapy, and group therapy. I am currently serving the Fort Worth and Keller areas.

While I was at Texas Wesleyan University I traveled abroad to China, London, and Australia for additional Training in:
Solution Focused Therapy
Narrative Therapy

Couples and Sex Therapy
EMDR Training (Trauma therapy)

I also gained training in during my studies in:

Person Centered Therapy
Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Fort Worth Counselor
Group Therapy
Group therapy gives children the opportunity to improve their social skills by working together and giving each other advice.  Allowing children to realize that they aren't alone in their problems.  By helping each other, children can improve their confidence, self-esteem, and mood.

Animal Assisted Therapy
Incorporating certified animals in therapy can help create a warm, inviting, and nurturing environment in the counseling process.  Certified animals will work with the therapist on the clients goals, and lowering anxiety within the therapy session.  Children can also benefit from the integrated use of a therapy animal by learning responsibility, respect, and patience.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
A type of psychotherapy technique that is primarily used to treat trauma.  It can also be used to enhance emotional resources such as confidence and self-esteem.
